How much will it cost?
This is one of our most commonly asked questions. We are up front and honest with our prices!
We charge $50 per hour for services done in our shop, and you are only billed for ACTUAL work done. We don't count "sitting there watching programs run" as work.
Virus / Malware cleanups are performed at a flat rate of $100. This includes new or upgraded antivirus software for FREE!
We charge $100 per hour for on-site work. Commercial customers will be billed at $100 per hour. We do have a 1hr minimum. There is no trip charge within Amarillo & Canyon. Parts & Equipment are billed as quoted.
We will give you an educated guess on how long a job should take upon request!
How long will it take?
This is another commonly asked question. Most of our new customers are surprised by our speed. Unlike most places, you won't have to wait days or weeks to get your computer in front of a technician. We almost always start diagnosing and repairing your computer immediately!
We will contact you when we diagnose the machine to inform you of repair costs and give you an approximate time to completion. Most work done in our shop will be completed within 24-48 hours. If the work will take longer than 48 hours, we will notify you accordingly.
For on site work, the majority of service calls are handled within 1 hour. Larger jobs will be quoted and we will work with you to make sure we meet your deadlines.
Is my data safe?
Absolutely! We take extra precaution to ensure your data stays safe. We may request to bring a computer back to our shop just for this purpose. We always strive to have good backups before work begins. That way if we unintentionally cause data loss, we can always restore from backup.
What do I need to bring when I drop off my computer?
For Desktop machines, we will only need the computer itself, and any related equipment that you are having trouble with. We do not need your power cord unless the problem is power related.
For laptop/notebook computers, please bring the computer and its power cord. Also bring all accessories you typically have plugged into the machine, such as a mouse, wireless adapter, etc.
We normally do not need any of your software. If we do need your software cd's, we will call you.
Can you come to my house and fix my computer?
Yes! However, it may be more cost effective for you to bring the computer to us. While we are at your house, we may have to scan your computer for viruses or repair your hard disk. These procedures can take a long time, and you will be billed for the time it takes these scans to run. Also we might not be able to get a backup of your data, so data loss is a real concern.
We have your best interests in mind. We do offer a complimentary pickup/delivery service in most cases for customers inside the city limits of Amarillo!
